Thanksliving (an upcycled Thanksgiving)
Somewhere between the turkey and pumpkin pie we seem to have lost focus. The reason for the season is to give thanks for the gifts of life and the generosity of our planet. This Thanksgiving tread softer on the earth with holiday décor that honours it, instead of taking away from it. Look to nature for inspiration and upcycle organic materials instead of using up resources and contributing to our waste streams.
Change the pattern and give thanks to all the things we take for granted in our lives – the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the survival of our species.
Here are some fab Thanksgiving decor ideas inspired by the bounties of our planet.
