Bravo! Congrats on your new acquisition and restoration. Fortunately my taped seams in the Boler were in perfect condition so I did not have to repair them. I did however use a product called AEROTAPE around the inside of the door trim that worked brilliantly. It is a flexible and self adhering foam tape this is used for wrapping pipes, tubing and fittings. Sticks really, really good but it only comes in black. The rolls are 2" wide so you would probably have to cut thinner strips to install on the vinyl seams. I found mine at Canadian Tire in the plumbing department. Also, check out the tapes offered in the automotive dept - they may have a similar product with more colour options.
Please send me a photo of your baby - I would LOVE to have a look-see.
Good luck and happy DIY'ing...
Ciao

Question about Boler !
Hello !

First off, I just wanted to congradulate you on your Boler videos ! They have helped us a lot! They are instructive and easy to understand.

We live in Montreal, Canada and we have a 1972,10 feet Boler. We found her hidden behind and old barn and she was in bad shape. We have almost completely restored her. Now, we have only one problem that we cannot seem to fix...the tapes on the inside walls wont stick ! We tried double-sided tapes, we tried painting the tapes and nothing works...what do you recommend we used to fix this problem ? Thank you so much for your help !

Sincerely yours,
Milene and Patrick

Hi Mark,
I sourced those small halogen battery operated lights @ Home Depot. Love 'em 'cause they are so light that they can be installed with a heavy duty tape to the ceiling. I placed mine under the cabinetry in the kitchen area which illuminates the counter space and cooktop perfectly.
Ciao

Thanks Bonnie...I had a blast working on it, but it still isn't quite finished. Just purchased three teeny weeny LED chandeliers to brighten up the interior. And, of course still more leopardizing to do. I'm also adding an awning for a bit of outside glam.

Hi Cindy
I used 'Captains Blue' unsanded grout. Be sure to seal your masterpiece with at least two coats of grout sealant and re-seal periodically, particularly if it will be situated outdoors. The grout and the sealant are available at Home Depot, Rona and Totem Building supplies.
